The way they treat disabled patrons is absolutely disgusting with prejudiced, unhelpful, unknowledgeable staff who make horrible judgements and assumptions. Nobody in this household will ever attend an event at this venue again. Well, I guess it IS SLOWER than using paper when their personnel are not trained properly. In my opinion the mobile boarding pass it is clearly NOT SLOWER than using paper. In fairness, maybe they're just to busy buying up all the distressed airlines in the world to be bothered with my convenience. Someone needs to try to drag USAirways, kick and screaming into 2015. We have done the multiple boarding pass on the single phone thing with United(in that case the two of us were traveling on separate reservations). Informs us that "You cannot have the boarding passes for multiple passengers on your phone!" After we argued with her for about 45 seconds(and held up what was left of the boarding line), she sent us back to the desk to, get this, show them our driver's licenses so they could issue us PAPER boarding passes for this flight. * USAIR PHX hold the iphone under the scanner at the gate, flick to the next boarding pass, and the gate agent freaks. * USAIR CLT hold the iphone under the scanner at the gate, flick to the next boarding pass, hold it under the scanner and "Have a nice flight Sir!" from the friendly folks at USAirways in Charlotte. * USAIR CHS hold the iphone under the scanner at the gate, flick to the next boarding pass, hold it under the scanner and "Have a nice flight Sir!" from the friendly folks at USAirways in Charleston. * TSA at CHS(Charleston), no problem, select the boarding pass, place the phone on the TSA device, agent tells you to pick up the phone, get the next boarding pass and place the phone again on the TSA device. * USAIR PHX hold the iphone under the scanner at the gate, flick to the next boarding pass, hold it under the scanner and "Have a nice flight Sir!" from the friendly folks at USAirways in Phoenix. * USAIR SFO hold the iphone under the scanner at the gate, flick to the next boarding pass, hold it under the scanner and "Have a nice flight Sir!" from the friendly folks at USAirways in San Francisco. * TSA at SFO, no problem, select the boarding pass, place the phone on the TSA device, agent tells you to pick up the phone, get the next boarding pass and place the phone again on the TSA device. The iPhone6 PassBook APP, by the way, sorted them automatically by flight segment so presenting them in sequence to the TSA person or the airline gate agent is a matter of a one-handed flick of a thumb. Then I logged back in to USAIR and requested the mobile boarding passes for myself, I received three boarding pass emails on the iPhone6 and added them to PassBook. So I got the boarding pass emails, one for each segment, for my wife and added them to the iPhone's PassBook. ONLINE CHECK IN: When you check in online, the USAir site WILL NOT send boarding passes for both of us to a SINGLE email address. This is for me and my wife traveling with a single iPhone6, both of us named on the same reservation, two times for both of us through TSA, boarding 5 flight segments in the complete round trip, airports were SFO, PHX on the outbound to Florida, and CHS, CLT and PHX on the return to California It does not store any personal data.Just completed a trip on USAirways or American, or whatever its called today) and have this to report.
